The well-known Japanese two-wheeler automaker Yamaha launched its middleweight moped Jupiter, few months back. The 114cc motor promises a better combustion and fuel efficiency. The moped is available in 2 colors namely: Black and Red, White and Black. Talking about its engine and performance, Yamaha Jupiter is fitted with a 114cc powertrain unit, the single cylinder, 4 stroke, 2 valve SOHC, air-cooled engine emits the maximum power of 10 hp at 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.9 nm at 6000 rpm which is mated to a wet multi-plate clutch that provide a hassle free riding experience. Overall the engine and its performance are superb to produce a noise and vibration free ride.

Handling

The Japanese manufacturer has used the diamond frame for Jupiter. It has been outfitted with oil damper suspension at front and oil damper spring suspension at the rear portion of the moped that gives more durability and smoothness to the ride. It comes packed with a 70/90 R17 front and 80/90 R17 rear tube tyres in order to provide an accurate pace on the track. The tyres are coupled with the 5-spoke wonderfully designed black alloy wheels to produce an excellent grip on the road and the rider feels convinced while riding it.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous

For satisfactory braking, it is equipped with an improved disc brake at front and a drum brake on the rear side to provide the stopping power and to increase the safety of the riders. The brakes work well and give a tension free secure riding experience. With smart responsiveness, the Jupiter is a better handled two-wheeler.
