Lifan EM 125

Introduction

Lifan Motors has a presence worldwide and has a strong hold in two wheeler market in South Asian countries. In Vietnam, it has introduced a wide range of product meeting requirement of the customers for usage in a variety of scenarios. The EM 125 is a 125cc bike with the power of 11.3hp and mileage of 55kmpl and has latest trendy features of stylish body contours with glossy paints, disc brakes for both wheels and alloy wheels as standard.

Design

The basic design features of this bike include the stylish design of the headlight assembly with cowl surrounding, a wide handlebar and the fuel tank with side cladding. The step type seat is given slight elevation for the pillion passenger and the rider seat portion given good cushioning for better ride posture with support for lower back. The handlebar is given wide handgrip and the rear view mirror fixed on the handlebar can be adjusted for getting a better glance of the vehicle following. The dimensional features include 2040mm X760mm X1060mm (Length X Width X Height) and wheelbase of 1320mm and the kerb weight of 128kg make it easy to handle.

This bike feature well-proved performance four-stroke petrol engine with 125cc capacity delivering the power of 11.39hp at 7000rpm and torque of 11.5Nm at 5500rpm. The genuine combination of power and torque can enable for easy riding over flat road conditions and negotiate with the uphill tasks. The smooth acceleration can lead to quick development of initial speed from the start and it can reach a top speed of 100kmph during riding on level road conditions. In city riding, one can rely upon mileage of around 55kmpl and it can go up to 60kmpl on highway riding.

The suspension system features telescopic shock absorbers at the front and twin shock absorbers with torsional springs mounted on the body frame at the rear. The other safety features include tubular engine guard for avoiding underbody hits for the engine and insulation plate provided on the silencer pipe prevent contact of the pillion rider with a hot silencer.
