The Angela 50 is one of the stylish, user-friendly and economical price models with trendy features getting it a stand-apart stance among the crowd in a moped segment of the country. This model is available in a single variant with five colour options.

Design

The design features of SYM Angela are given a classical combination of the styling of a scooter and moped. The headlight assembly, the handlebar, front body panel with stylish cladding and indicator lamps and the front fender give it the best of the on-road image. Low saddle height and compact design of dual straight seat give good posture for the rider and comfortable seating for the pillion passenger dimensional features of 1920mm X 680mm X 1070mm (Length X Width X Height), wheelbase 1230mm make it easy to use two wheeler for any age group of commuters.

Engine, Economy & Performance

Angela features 49cc two-stroke engine delivering the power of 2.74 hp at 7500 rpm and torque of 3 Nm at 6500 rpm. The small yet efficient performance engine can take the vehicle to a speed of 30 kmph in a short interval of time and can reach a maximum speed of 60kmph on straight ahead riding. The comparatively lower power is good for a single rider and the pulling can affect with a pillion rider. The lightweight features and efficient performance of the engine can get the fuel efficiency of around 45kmpl in normal usage conditions.

Handling

The comparatively smaller dimensions of the motorcycle make it easy to handle in heavy traffic zones of the city and taking sharp turns and riding over narrow spaces in congested areas such as a shopping area in the city. The small engine capacity and lightweight features make it a convenient vehicle to use in commuting across villages where one has to negotiate with narrow spaces and tough tyres fitted onto the spoke wheel can take the impact of stones and on the spoilt road conditions making a reliable motorcycle for small distances.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous

The lightweight and yet strong tubular frame used for the motorcycle that can withstand static and varying loads such as the weight of engine and accessories, weight of the rider and pillion passenger. The efficient telescopic shock absorbers at the front and hydraulic shock absorber with torsion spring at the rear absorb the shock loads and enhance the comfort of the rider and pillion passenger. The drum brakes used at both front and rear wheels assure safe stopping and long lasting reliability. The under seat storage space can accommodate small items such as a handbag, vehicle document and other items adding to the convenience of the user.

This is an entry level small capacity engine motorcycle designed to serve as a commuter for limited distance usage in town and city conditions.
