Introduction

Megelli has been manufacturing sports bikes since its inception at the Milan EICMA exhibition in November 2007 and now they are eager to thrill the Vietnam automotive industry by thrusting its fresh adventure bike Motard 250 M and assuring marvelous styling with a remarkable performance. Since its launch, it has received a lot of appreciation due to its super sporty body design and excellent handling. It has been created solemnly with a splendid front profile incorporated with an edgy headlamp section which makes it a raw, energetic and stripped-down adventurous bike.

Design

Talking about its looks, Megelli Motard 250 M comes with an elegant body structure that is both good looking and aerodynamic. It is outfitted with a long slender type seat along with a sleekly designed fuel tank which is painted in an enthralling color scheme to intensify the overall visual character of the bike. At the front, it has a bold styling with the integration of a pointed headlamp section and a highly raised fender. It has gorgeously designed small sized handlebars and clear lens indicators that are really impressive. The side view shows the company emblem on the fuel tank that adds more appeal. At the rear, it has a high-mounted exhaust muffler that finds its position just underneath the seat, which is one of the rarest visuals one can observe in an entry-level bike in Vietnam. It also has an LED tail light along with the side indicators. So far it is one and only 250cc adventurous bike available in the country by Megelli which comes with a strong body structure and gives an exceptional all round performance. It has a length of 2050 mm with a width of 780 mm and height of 1130 mm. It has a wheelbase of 1410 mm with elegantly designed black spoke alloy wheels.

Engine, Economy & Performance

Talking about the engine and performance of Megelli Motard 250 M, it has a 250cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, single cylinder engine to produce the maximum power of 26.61 hp at 9000 rpm and a superlative torque of 22.3 nm at 7000 rpm that comes mated to a six-speed transmission to give powerful acceleration and vibration free riding experience. The hydraulic multi-plate slipper clutch set-up ensures that the bike does not lose revs under dynamic downshifting. The bike is utterly manageable, it provides a comprehensive off-road confidence and with this arrangement, it can sprint 0-80 kmph in just 3.50 seconds and can hit a top speed of 154 kmph.

Handling

The bike rides on 100/70 R17 front and 130/70 R17 rear radial tyres with lightweight black alloy wheels. It has telescopic fork suspension at the front and mono shock suspension at the rear to offer an exceptional ride quality and a strong grip on both, tarmac as well as uneven surfaces.

Safety, Braking, and Miscellaneous

For satisfactory braking, the intense stopping power is granted by a set of disc brake fitted at both ends that work well in all kind of circumstances without any ABS (anti-lock braking system) unit. All these factors make it a safe yet true show stopper material in the worldwide adventure bike segment.
