Honda SH125i

Introduction

The Honda Motorcycles in Vietnam has introduced latest and trendy feature models with engine capacity in the range of 100cc to 150cc. The some of the line-ups in this country include SH150i, SH Mode, MSX, PCX, Air Blade, Lead, Vision and others. In the SH125i model, it featured 125cc engine, available in one variant and Honda offers as many as six colour options to choose.

Design

The SH125i is made very stylish in appearance with the sleek styling of the body panels and special design of the headlight. The ample leg space between the seat and handlebar and the seat with best of cushioning and saddle height of 799mm and the ground clearance of 144mm gets a comfortable posture for the rider and the pillion passenger seat given hand grip and foot pegs for firm and comfortable seating. The Honda SH125 performance is enhanced with the usage of latest technology for the single cylinder 125cc liquid cooled engine delivering the power of 11.7hp at 7500rpm and torque of 11.2Nm at 6500rpm. The engine uses PGM-FI fuel injection system for efficient combustion of fuel and the power output is connected to the rear wheel with CVT transmission delivering maximum power and torque. The superior quality of the engine can take the vehicle from zero to 60kmph in over 9 seconds and further acceleration can make it reach a top speed of 80kmph. A fuel efficiency of 55kmpl can be expected in city riding conditions and a maximum of 60kmpl can be reliable on highway riding.

The strong frame and the light in weight yet strong body panel assure long lasting agility of the vehicle and the ride comfort and safety is assured with efficient brake system featuring disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The suspension system involves upside down telescopic shock absorber at the front and hydraulic shock absorber at the rear with torsion spring for better absorption of the road shocks and vibrations of the vehicle. The space lockable under seat storage space can be handy for storing smaller items like a handbag, helmet and other things for safe storage while the vehicle is parked. The silence pipe is given chrome plated insulator plate avoids contact of the pillion rider with a hot silencer.
