Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe

Introduction:

  Harley-Davidson released the Softail Deluxe in Vietnam targeting the youth who want a package that includes pleasing power with magnetic looks. The bike is one of the most popular cruiser bikes in the Vietnamese market due to its powerful engine and dynamic design. The motorcycle is featured with a well-crafted instrument panel which consists digital speedometer, fuel gauge and the analogue tachometer.

Design:

  Talking about the appearance, the bike is designed so beautifully and gets all the attraction on the streets because of its aggressive and muscular styling. The front fascia of the bike comes up with the signature rounded headlamp that offers more elegant and classy look to the motorcycle. The overall length of the bike is around 2405 mm along with a high ground clearance of 122 mm. The bike is also blessed with a larger wheelbase of 1638 mm to offer perfect handling in conditions.

Engine, Economy and Performance:

  As far as the power is concerned, the bike is equipped with a powerful engine of 1690 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, Twin Cam 103 BTM that generates the maximum torque of around 130 Nm at 3000 rpm. The engine is further mated with a six-speed manual transmission with perfectly optimised gear ratios. The powerplant has a bore x stroke ratio of 98.4 mm x 111.1 mm along with a compression ratio of 9.6:1.

Handling:

  The manufacturing company furnished the bike with a 41.3 mm inverted telescopic suspension at the front and horizontally mounted at the rear to offer a smooth, comfortable and handy ride. Apart from this, the bike moves on MT90 B16 at the front and MU 85 B16 rear tubeless tyres that offer wider traction and prevents the vehicle from skidding.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous:

  Softail Deluxe is blessed with a 292 mm x 5.1 mm with four piston caliper at the front and 292 mm x 5.8 mm along with two-piston caliper at the rear to maintain a good grip on the road. The bike is gifted with an advanced Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) that offers secure braking experience to the rider.
